collecting Lauraceae in Panamaa.jpg

I am broadly interested in the ecological and evolutionary interactions that maintain the diversity of tropical plants. To this end, my research focuses on the intersection of ecology and systematic, using the Neotropical genera of the family Lauraceae. My recent studies explore the biology of breeding systems, fruit shape, and pathogens' effect in seedlings associated with diversification on Supraocotea.
